COVID-19 Checklist for ALL In-Person Gatherings
Every scout and adult attendee is required to review and adhere to this BSA checklist: 680-102.pdf (scouting.org)
Every scout and adult attendee is required to bring the following personal gear:
Face mask* - to be worn if social distancing of greater than 6 feet cannot be maintained.
Work gloves - to be worn during the rare instances when gear is shared.
Personal gear - specific to activity or event (e.g. rope, compass, knife).
Every scout and adult attendee is expected to adhere to the following:
Maintain social distancing of greater than 6 feet. Normal activities (fall-in, flags, etc.) have been modified to keep the troop spread out.
Gather outdoors whenever feasible. When not feasible to gather outdoors, the gathering area must be well ventilated and large enough to support social distancing.
Minimize the sharing of gear. Participants are expected to bring their own items when possible.
Travel to and from activities with only family members. If it is necessary to carpool in order to participate, it is recommended that everyone follow carpooling best practices.
In the brief instances when social distancing of greater than 6 feet cannot be maintained (e.g. participating in flag corps), masks must be worn by those within 6 feet of others.
Participants are welcome to voluntarily wear their mask at all times if it makes them more comfortable.
However, the voluntary wearing of masks does NOT exempt one from maintaining social distancing of greater than 6 feet.
